1. Overview
This Purchase Policy governs the online purchase of insurance products offered by Protap (“we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website and/or mobile application (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
By purchasing any insurance policy via our Platform, you (“you” or “the customer”) agree to comply with and be bound by this Purchase Policy in addition to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and applicable laws and regulations.
2. Eligibility
To purchase an insurance policy online, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age in your jurisdiction.
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information during the application process.
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding insurance contract.
3. Application and Purchase Process
3.1. Quote Generation
You may obtain a quote by entering the required information into our online quote form. Quotes are estimates and are subject to verification and underwriting.
3.2. Disclosure of Information
You must disclose all relevant facts and information truthfully. Any misrepresentation or non-disclosure may result in denial of claims or cancellation of the policy.
3.3. Underwriting Approval
All policies are subject to underwriting review. We reserve the right to accept or reject your application based on our underwriting guidelines.
3.4. Confirmation of Coverage
Your policy will be activated only after:
- Successful completion of the application process,
- Payment of the required premium, and
- Issuance of a policy confirmation via email or through your online account.
4. Payment Terms
- All premiums must be paid in full using the accepted online payment methods (e.g., credit/debit card, bank transfer, digital wallets, and cryptocurrencies).
- Premiums may be one-time or recurring, depending on the policy type.
- A receipt and policy documentation will be sent electronically upon payment confirmation.
5. Policy Delivery
Upon successful purchase, your policy documents will be available for download on your account dashboard and/or sent to your registered email address.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Full refunds are not guaranteed.
- You may cancel the policy within the free-look period from the date of policy issuance for a partial refund, provided no claims have been made.
- After the free-look period, cancellation terms vary by policy type. Partial refunds may apply if allowed under the terms of your policy.
- Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within [7–14] business days.
7. Modifications to the Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Purchase Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on our Platform, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
